  1. Palazzo Crescenzi

In the caption Vasi locates the Piazza Crescenzi between the Piazza della Rotonda (NN 834) and Piazza S. Eustachio, Plate 113, which serves as a contiguous view for the latter. The piazza takes its name from Palazzo dei Crescenzi (NN 835) on the right. In his text Vasi describes this busy market as selling "all sorts of meat, fruit, flowers and every kind of food and other things..." Nolli shows the small two-story building in the center of the print that was demolished in the early 20th century.
