Chiesa di S. Maria delle Grazie, e Casa degli Eremiti, che vivono in Comunità

The early 17th century church, S. Maria delle Grazie, was located on Via di Porta Angelica, but was demolished in the 1930s when that street was widened. A modern mosaic at the same corner commemorates the image of the Virgin for which the church was originally built. Via di Porta Angelica was the main cross street in Borgo Pio, the 1560s expansion of the medieval Borgo. It led from Piazza S. Pietro, Plates 27, 41, 41A to Porta Angelica, Plate 19, the gate in the city walls from which this view was taken. The street flanking the church is Borgo Angelico (NN 1297).
