My Totem Series is about the delicate balance of wild things and wild places, especially in light of human-caused challenges. Climate change has altered precipitation amounts and patterns, and thus the availability and predictability of food in the harsh (western North American) environments these sheep call home. Over time, prolonged drought is a grave threat to the survival of the subspecies. |
