Dwain M— Zodrow4, born September 17, 1923 in Minot, Ward County, North Dakota, the son of William Howard Zodrow3 and Anna Evelin (Kleppe) Zodrow.

He was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1941. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II, from April 28, 1943 to September 13, 1945, when he was honorably discharged. During his service he was stationed in Italy. After his discharge he attended the University of North Dakota, graduating with a degree in Geology, Geography, and Physics in 1950.

Dwain married, June 27, 1948 at Vincent United Methodist Church in Minot, — — —. She was born — –, — in —, the daughter of — — and — (—) —.

Dwain was living in Minot, Ward County, North Dakota in 1971, when his father died.

In 2004 Dwain was a registered land surveyor living at 1112 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701, and was a member of the Last Man Club associated with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 753, Minot, North Dakota.

Dwain died March 15, 2008, aged 84, in an assisted living center in Carpio, Ward County, North Dakota. He was survived by his wife, three children, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and sister. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Beverly Zodrow Jablovskis. A service was held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Vincent United Methodist Church, Minot, the Rev. Rick Fossum officiating. Pall-bearers were Tim Zodrow, Neil DelaBarre, Brian Smith, and Steve Kuske. Burial was at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
