Homework: 

1) Read Williams Lesson 4. Write 4.2 (4); 4.4 (4); 4.6 (6)

2) Review the pronunciation links in (I) above, especially those you are not clear about. We can work on specific aspects of these that you find problematic in our individual meetings.

3) Prepare a 3 to 5-minute talk describing a process (how to do something or how something happens) related to your field (see assignment handout)

4) Meeting this week is optional unless you have a video to review--let me know if you want to get together and what you would like to cover.

5) Find two examples of abstracts from your field (1 good, 1 with problems). Bring in a printed copy of each--do not indicate which is which!
