I. Introductions in presentations. The opening 2-3 minutes of your talk are the most critical. Note that for the final week of class, you will be presenting a full 12-15 minute talk on your research. Practicing an introduction to that will be useful.

Homework:
1) Meeting. Review the video of your talk. If you have other writing, be sure to send that ahead.
2) Write the answers to the exercises in Lesson 7: 7.1 (2, 6, 12); 7.4 (4)
3) Review the clips in I in more detail, and prepare a 2 to 3-minute minute introduction to a longer talk that is engaging and informative.
