Homework for the next class:

1. Prepare a presentation for the next class on a topic related to the body of your final presentation (a followup from last week's introduction). It should be 3-4 minutes and include a PPT or other visual support, keeping in mind the role of visuals to enhance, not distract. Be sure to use at least one question and practice formulas for answering questions from the audience. Note that you will need to field questions both during and after the talk, so be prepared.

2. Write the answers to Williams, Lesson 8: (8.1) 4, 8, 12  (8.2) 2--note, create three different endings for this one.

3) Find two example introductions: one that you think is particularly good and another that you think has some problems. Bring a printed copy of each in for your classmates to read and analyze--don't indicate which is which.
