This course introduces the foundations of algorithmic fairness while progressing to advanced topics. The study of fairness is ancient and multidisciplinary: philosophers, legal experts, economists, statisticians, social scientists, and others have been concerned with fairness for as long as these fields have existed. Topics included fair division, individual fairness, and multigroup fairness.1
Along with Charlotte Peale and Kevin Sun, I designed the problem sets and final project. The course enrolled 63 students in 2023 and 103 students in 2024.
JamCoders, The University of the West Indies

JamCoders is an annual summer camp on algorithms and programming for high school students. It first launched at the UWI Mona campus in Kingston, Jamaica, in summer 2022. The four-week camp welcomes 50 students from across Jamaica.
I was a teaching assistant for the program's inaugural staging. Teaching assistants lead daily discussion sections and provide mentorship to students.
