SUnet IDs

All SCPD students are given a Stanford SUnet ID, a string of letters and numbers which is the handle of your email @stanford.edu. You will need this ID and your password to:

  • access the book and other library materials online,
  • access the restricted parts of this website,
  • read your Stanford email, where you will receive mailing list announcements,
  • register for the Piazza forum,
  • register for the Kaggle competition, and
  • enroll in our Gradescope site to submit homework.
If you don't know what your ID is, please consult SCPD.

Homework

SCPD students must submit their homework online through Gradescope (see the syllabus). Please, do not use the SCPD submission system for homework.

Exams

Remote SCPD students must designate an "exam monitor" to proctor their exams (local students have the option of taking the exam at Stanford at the standard in-class time in the standard classroom). You will find general information on SCPD exam monitor protocol here: http://scpd.stanford.edu/programs/courses/graduate-courses/exam-monitor-information.

Please call or email (scpd-distribution@lists.stanford.edu) SCPD directly for more information on choosing an exam monitor, where to send exam solutions, etc. You will have a window of 24 hours after the exam time at Stanford to complete and return the exam. Exam-specific instructions (e.g., resources allowed and time limit) will be provided within each exam and also in advance through the website and/or mailing list.
