Overview:

This year, Stanford Taekwondo will offer both sport and traditional poomsae competition. Traditional poomsae consists of performing the poomsae corresponding to one's belt rank- only one poomsae is performed. Traditional poomsae can only be performed as an individual but is available for all ranks. Sport poomsae will follow USAT Competition Rules. Athletes may wear either an official WTF sparring or poomsae uniform. No non-standard uniforms are allowed.

The only poomsae accepted is the Taegeuk series for color belts, and Koryo, Keumgang, Taebaek, Pyungwon, Shipjin, Jitae, Chonkwon, and Hansu for black belts. These are all recognized by USAT and WTF.
