This project is a Web-Edition of Ulugh Beg's 15th century Star Catalog Zij i-Sultani. It includes an introduction to the Star Catalog, transcription/translation of the preface of a 18th century edition, a comparative analysis of some of the editions digitally available, and a list of known editions of the Zij. This project is still in development stage and will be the Digital Humanities edition to my Master's Thesis on Arabic Astronomy in Seventeenth-Century England: John Greaves’s Rediscovery of Oriental Astronomical Tables.

The future version of this Web-Edition will also bring to light Greaves's study of the Arabic and Persian manuscripts of Zij-i Sultani and his translation in Latin.
