I am a final year PhD student at Stanford Electrical Engineering Department, advised by Profs. David Donoho and Andrea Montanari.

Research Interests

I am interested in developing a precise understanding of modern machine learning algorithms. In my research I apply methods from high-dimensional probability (in particular random matrix theory) alongside efficient large-scale computation to develop a scientific understanding of machine learning phenomena.
