5.  Congressional amendment to Part A of title VII of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965
(20 U.S.C. 7401 et seq.)
English language education. Complete wording of amendment is given. This part may be cited as the "English Language Fluency Act."
 

6.  The Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs
The Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs helps school districts meet their responsibility to provide equal education opportunity to limited English proficient children. This site supports bilingual education as a means to make it possible for linguistically diverse children to achieve the same challenging academic standards required of all children enrolled in America's schools.

This very valuable site offers links, databases, clearinghouses, research and directories on topics that include Bilingual education, K-12 ESL and integration of language and content among others.
 

8.  The California School Board Association's Policies on ELL Students
This site has the association's position statements on: HIV/AIDS education; violence in media and entertainment; services for children of undocumented immigrants; school-sponsored prayer; California welfare reform; and education of English-language learners also discusses critical issues; conditions of children; curriculum and instruction; facilities; funding and finance governance and structure; professional standards; program and fiscal accountability and student diversity.
