Wikis: I'm trying to think about how wikis support learning, and how they might be used specifically to support learning at Stanford. I'm also working with Dan Gilbert and Helen Chen in SCIL to think more broadly about what wikis do in learning communities... link to that stuff coming soon.

Engineering Education Research: I'm part of a research team that is helping think about how engineering education research might have an impact on the undergraduate engineering experience at Stanford. The public face of this research project is here.

Things I do outside of work

Remixes: My friend Jack Schonbrun and I are working on visualizing text, using Flash, as well as trying to imagine textual remixes, using important(?) texts from the public domain. Check that out here.
