I am a Professor of Particle Physics & Astrophysics at SLAC and Stanford, and an observational cosmologist studying the nature of Dark Energy through gravitational lensing. I am the Deputy Head of the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. I previously led the LSST Camera program, which built the world's largest digital camera. I also served as Deputy Director of Rubin Observatory during its commissioning phase.
