Exam protocols

The final exam is a 24-hour take-home exam. On-campus students must pick up the exam at one of the following times in Bytes Cafe, and return it 24-hours later.

• Thursday August 14 between 5pm and 6pm

• Friday August 15 between 10am and 11am

• Friday August 15 between 5pm and 6pm

If you cannot take the exam at any of these times, you should email the course staff list as soon as possible. SCPD students should email the course staff list to make arrangements to take the exam.

Practice exams

Practice exams and solutions will be posted a week before the exam. Old exam questions are typically included in the homework problems, so the exam questions should look very familiar. You can use the practice final to get an idea of what the exam will be like. You may also want to read over the solutions to check your understanding. The data files are given below. Solutions will be presented in lecture on Tuesday August 12, and posted on the course website after they are covered.
