Each year, SBSE membership attend Regional and National Conferences for personal, professional and organizational development and networking opportunities. Some events from last year's Region Six Conference in Anaheim, CA included the Undergraduate Studies in Technical Research (USTR) competition, Lunch Banquet, Academic Tech Bowl competition, Career Fair, NSBE Marketplace, Sixhibition, and the Date Auction. There were also workshops on Advances in Nanotechnology, Time Management, Evaluating Job Offers, Mr. Wall Street's Guide to Financial Success and How to Sell Yourself on Paper. At last year's National Conference, SBSE garnered multiple awards and participated in programs at the national and regional levels. Over 30 SBSE members and PCI students attended the NSBE Region 6 Conference in Anaheim, CA and around 20 SBSE members and PCI students attended the NSBE National National Convention in Dallas, TX. SBSE would like to congratulate all of this year's winners and participants and thank them for their dedication and commitment to the organization and its activities.
