2023 Concerto Competition Winners

The 2023 Concerto Competition took place in Dinkelspiel Auditorium on 4 February 2023.

On Stanford Philharmonia’s Spring Concert on 13 May 2023, Jenny Xiong and Daniel Sun performed Concerto for Two Flutes in D minor by Franz Doppler, and Zachary Lin played Rhapsody for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra by André Waignein. Roger Xia performed Piano Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra on 19 & 20 May 2023. On SSO’s Fall Concerts on 1 December & 2 December 2023, Richard Cheung will perform Violin Concerto in D Major by Johannes Brahms, and Laura Futamura will play Poem for Flute and Orchestra by Charles Griffes.

All concerts take place in Bing Concert Hall.
