Flight Club Newsletter: the newest way to keep in touch with us!

Initially started as a way of fundraising for the team and now a pathway for us to keep in touch with family and alumni, our Substack newsletter, written by our own Yeti and Hobbes, is BACK for the upcoming season!

As a storied program, we know there are decades of community that may be lost to history, and the connection between Superflies of past and present is often hard to find. Through this newsletter, which will allow us to share all things Superfly with readers, we hope to strengthen the ties between our current team, our former teammates, and our friends and family! Connecting all eras of Superfly is a big goal of ours, because the bigger our community, the stronger we are, and the more love we can share!

In the newsletter, we release monthly updates on the team, which include things like insider tournament summaries, player bios, coach podcasts, stories about the team you wouldn’t get anywhere else, photos, and whatever else we dream up (or you request!).

You can subscribe at stanfordsuperfly.substack.com! Last year, we raised enough money from the newsletter that we didn’t have to charge dues in the spring, which was huge for our program and a first in recent memory. This helps us break down the barriers to playing Ultimate, which are often financial, for current and future players and support us in being the best team we can possibly be. Thanks for reading!
