About the Project

This volume is a collaboration of the IATEFL LT SIG and TESOL CALL-IS. The LT SIG is responsible for publication and dissemination. Members of either group are invited to submit 300-word proposals by May 1, 2014. See the Call for Proposals for more details.

The volume was inspired by an exchange between the two groups that began in 2011, led by Michael Carrier, then of the British Council, which provided funding for each group to send a member to the other's conference. That process has continued annually and led to other collaborations, such as an online conference in October 2013.

The volume is edited by Sophie Ioannou-Georgiou and Phil Hubbard.
