Chris (aka Smitty, Schmitt, Mr. Chris)

Smitt's annual recap remains incomplete because he has yet to write it. Here is his 2002 in brief: working, swimming, playing, working, swimming, playing, working, working, swimming, working, playing.

He continues to work as a senior engineer at CSA Engineering, a firm specializing in vibration suppression, on projects for clients as varied as Kodak and the US government. His most recent accomplishment is completing the "Killer Quad" with his master's swim team: 4 swims (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) of increasing yardage -- on New Years Eve Day, he swam for 2 1/2 hours.

Smitt's plans for the New Year include beginning to train as a triathlete. His family continues to be overjoyed that the rugby days are behind him and that he's finally given up contact sports.
