Stanford Hosts Pacific Western 7′s Championship

The Stanford Men’s 7′s Team will be hosting the Pacific Western Conference 7′s Championship this Saturday November 9th at Stanford’s Steuber Rugby Stadium. The event will also serve as an automatic qualifier for USA Rugby’s Collegiate 7′s National Championship, which will be held November 23rd and 24th in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Pacific Western 7′s Championship will run from 9am-5pm, with the full schedule below. Teams include Stanford, Chico State, Nevada-Reno, UC Santa Cruz, San Jose State, San Francisco State, Fresno State, and Santa Rosa.

Stanford is in Pool A, and will play the following Pool Matches: Santa Rosa (9:40am), Nevada-Reno (11:20am), and Fresno State (1:00pm).
