Interpreting a Changing Japan
Bring your fellow alumni and friends to Stanford in October for terrific food and engaging talks from alumni both inside and outside the academy. Reconnect with old classmates over the latest news from Japan, in fields ranging from entertainment and journalism to tech and medicine.

The Toshizo Watanabe Symposium: Celebrating the World through Japanese Art
To celebrate the establishment of the Toshizo Watanabe Scholarship Program with a generous $10 million endowment gift, the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies will host a symposium on Japanese art with a group of distinguished alumni. Join us for an afternoon of invigorating discussions on Japanese ceramics, photography, and Noh theater. Enjoy a free reception with libations and live music following the symposium.
