The Toshizo Watanabe Fellows Program

Thanks to a generous $10 million gift from The Toshizo Watanabe Foundation, IUC is pleased to announce a scholarship program for both graduate and undergraduate students with Japan-focused career goals. The Toshizo Watanabe Fellows Program at the IUC aims to provide deserving students with an opportunity to attain the deep linguistic and cultural knowledge needed to become leaders in their fields, and to foster strong collegial bonds and intellectual exchange among them and with their IUC senpai.

Eligibility

Eligibility: All eligible applicants for the IUC 10-Month Program will be considered for the Toshizo Watanabe Fellows Program.

Language Exam: Required and offered in February, 2019

Attendance Fees

The Toshizo Watanabe Fellows will receive a full tuition scholarship to attend the 10-Month Program at the IUC in Yokohama.

How to Apply

All eligible applicants for the IUC 10-Month Program will be considered for the Toshizo Watanabe Fellows Program.

The 2019-20 application period will open September 17, 2018.

The application deadline is January 11, 2019.
