Final Exam Grades
1 month and 3 days ago by Your Instructors

We've just released Final Exam grades on Gradescope. You must log in with your Stanford email to see your score. The median score was 78% (140/180 pts), and we know this exam was challenging, so we're proud of how everyone did! Please do not feel discouraged by your raw score - this course will be graded on a curve. Until course grades are released, it is unlikely that we'll be able to share any information about your course grade or the curve.

We try to grade as consistently as possible, but we are human and we might make mistakes. If you feel like one of your problems was misgraded, please take a look at the Final Solutions Handout, and then file a regrade request on Gradescope. Note that your section leader cannot regrade your exam - you must submit a formal request through Gradescope. If you submit a regrade request, we do reserve the right to regrade the entire problem and make any necessary corrections.

Regrade requests are open now and will stay open on Gradescope until Friday, August 25th at 11:59pm PT. After this deadline passes, please reach out directly to the course instructors with any grading questions.

End Of Quarter
1 month and 6 days ago by Your Instructors

πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰Congratulations on finishing CS106B!πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Here's some info as we wrap up the quarter:

  • We will be grading the final exam over the weekend and getting exam grades back to you early next week. You'll get an email when grades are released on Gradescope just like you did for the midterm.
  • Final grades are due on Tuesday, August 29th (not next Tuesday) at midnight PT, so you can expect to see your final course grade in Axess by that time. In the meantime, it is unlikely that we'll be able to share any information about your course grade.
Retroactive Citations
1 month and 2 weeks ago by Your Instructors

In this course, we are committed to upholding academic integrity and our expectation is that that all work submitted for grading must be the student's authentic independent creation. Understanding that mistakes can happen, we want to give all students an opportunity to make things right if they made a mistake.

Please review this citations handout for more information and a link to a form where you can retroactively submit any citations. This form will close on Friday, August 18th at 11:59pm.
