Stanford 10′s Tournament

On October 27, 2007 the Stanford Women’s Rugby Team hosted its annual Stanford 10s Tournament. Fifteen sides came out for a fun competitive day of rugby. Two Chico sides, two Cal sides, Humboldt, San Francisco Fog, UCSD, SJSU, Santa Clara and Stanford competed in the women’s bracket. And two sides from Santa Clara, two sides from Stanford, and SJSU competed in the men’s bracket. Each team competed in a series of 24 minute games in their pool. The pool play determined seeds for the single-elimination playoff round based on most wins and highest point totals. Chico Red won the championship game for the women beating out SF Fog. SJSU won the championship for the men, beating out Stanford white with a score of 22-0.
